The Noosa Marina Markets return on Sunday 27 September, bringing a family day to the deck overlooking the Noosa River. Artisan stalls with handcrafted local wares, food and treats, live music and the river rolling by. Families can settle in for breakfast or lunch by the water, then let the little ones loose on the adventure.
On launch day, mermaids and pirates will be roaming the boardwalk, with prizes on offer and the chance to have a photo taken with a real-life mermaid or pirate. Little pirates, mermaids and treasure hunters of all ages are welcome.
The Great Noosa Marina Treasure Hunt
Hidden along the boardwalk are seven magical sea creatures, each one guarding a secret letter. Find all seven, unscramble the letters and reveal the magical word. There may be treasure waiting for the clever ones who crack it.
The hunt launches alongside the markets on 27 September and lives at the Marina permanently, so there is always an adventure waiting, whether families are in Noosa for the weekend or spending the day by the river.
The seven sea creatures to find:Turtle, Jellyfish, Dolphin, Starfish, Crab, Stingray and Seahorse. Each is trickier to spot than the last, so a treasure map and a keen eye are a must.
