About The Artist: Chris Cobb is an exceptional singer/songwriter whose musical roots trace back to the remote town of Bulolo, Papua New Guinea. Recently making waves on national television, Chris had all four chairs turn for him during his stunning audition on The Voice, showcasing the incredible talent that audiences are now discovering. His unique artistry blends traditional PNG beats and ancestral rhythms with contemporary styling, creating music with universal appeal. Drawing inspiration from his early days of watching his uncles perform in a string band and his experience with the renowned East New Britain rock band 'Barike', Chris brings a sensational voice and magnetic energy to every performance.
Event Details: Experience this unique musical journey as Chris Cobb performs at The Marina Bar, bringing the vibrant sounds of PNG to the shores of Noosa.
The Perfect Day Out: Make the most of your Sunday by exploring our waterfront shopping precinct and dining at our selection of outstanding restaurants. Then relax at The Marina Bar for what promises to be an unforgettable afternoon of music in one of Noosa's most picturesque locations.
Getting Here:
The Noosa Marina Markets bring local stallholders, fresh produce, handmade goods and live music to the Tewantin waterfront. Set along the boardwalk beside the Noosa River, the markets sit within easy reach of the precinct's cafés, restaurants and boutiques, so a morning of browsing can easily turn into lunch by the water.
Following the opening, the markets will run on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.

On the day
The Great Noosa Marina Treasure Hunt
Seven sea creatures are hidden around the marina, and they are not easy to find. Families can collect a treasure map and set off to track down the turtle, the jellyfish, the dolphin, the starfish, the crab, the stingray and the seahorse. Each creature guards a secret letter. Find all seven, unscramble them, and the letters spell a hidden word, with a reward waiting for those clever enough to solve it.
The treasure hunt is here to stay. Once the markets wrap up, the trail remains at the marina permanently, so families can take on the adventure any day of the week.
Getting here
Half the fun is the journey. Arrive by ferry along the Noosa River, or come by bus, bike, scooter or on foot. There is something about spotting the marina from the water that sets the tone for a day of exploring.
