From July, roadworks begin on the Doonella Lake Bridge between Noosaville and Tewantin, continuing through to December. If you're travelling to Noosa Marina from the Noosaville side, allow a few extra minutes - or skip the roadworks altogether and arrive the scenic way.
Take the ferry
The Noosa Ferry stops right at Noosa Marina, making it the simplest way to reach us while work is underway. Board at Noosaville or Noosa Heads, settle in for a cruise along the river, and step off at the Marina jetty with no traffic and no parking to think about. It turns the trip into part of the day out - and the winter light on the river is worth the ride alone. Timetables and fares are at noosaferry.com.
Coming by car
The Marina remains fully accessible by road throughout the works. Travelling from the Noosaville direction, allow a little extra time for possible delays at the bridge, particularly around weekends and peak periods. Approaching from Cooroy or the hinterland side, your run into Tewantin is unaffected. Parking is available at the Marina as usual.
By boat
Arriving on the water? Nothing changes. Visitor berths are available at the Marina - contact the Marina office for details.
Worth the trip
However you arrive, winter is one of the best times to visit. Crisp mornings on the boardwalk, long lunches by the river, live music every weekend, and the calendar is filling up - keep an eye on our events page for what's coming to the Marina this August.
