Halloween at Noosa Marina 2026

Broomsticks, capes and treat buckets at the ready - Halloween is coming back to the Noosa Marina waterfront. On Saturday 31 October, from 5pm to 8pm, the precinct will host a free family Halloween celebration, presented by Sunshine Coast Music and Events.

Every little witch, ghoul, goblin and caped crusader is invited along for an evening of tricks, treats and seasonal fun by the water.

A Look Back at Last Year

Last year’s Halloween drew families from across the Noosa region, with the boardwalk filled with skeletons, princesses, superheroes and a few very convincing zombies. Children lined up for magic tricks, danced in their costumes and called in at the precinct’s retailers for treats. A light shower of rain didn’t slow anyone down, with trick-or-treaters making their way along the wet boardwalk under the evening lights.

This year’s event builds on that same relaxed, community feel.

What’s On

Trick-or-Treating
Children are encouraged to bring a bucket or treat bag and collect Halloween goodies as they make their way around the precinct.

Costumes Encouraged
Scary, silly or completely original, all costumes are welcome. Whether it’s a homemade creation or a favourite character, the evening is a chance to dress up and join in.

Face Painting
Little ones can transform into a skeleton, a pumpkin or a mischievous monster at the face painting station.

Magic and Live Entertainment
Magic and live entertainment will run throughout the evening, with plenty of moments to keep children (and adults) guessing.

Food Trucks and Themed Treats
Food trucks and Halloween-inspired treats will be on hand, so families can grab a bite and a few sweets along the way.

Waterfront Atmosphere
With the evening settling over the river and Halloween decorations around the precinct, Noosa Marina offers a festive setting for the occasion.

Make a Night of It

Families are welcome to arrive early and enjoy dinner at one of the precinct’s waterfront restaurants before the festivities begin. With the event finishing at 8pm, it’s an easy evening out for younger children, without a late night.
