Gourmet Traveller has released its list of the eight Noosa restaurants you cannot miss in 2026, and two of them call Noosa Marina home.
Peli's and Lucio's Marina both earned a place in the publication's roundup, compiled by Gourmet Traveller's expert team. It is a strong showing for the Marina, with a quarter of the list found right here on the Tewantin waterfront.
From the team behind Sum Yung Guys, Peli's centres on share-style Mediterranean flavours that suit its waterfront setting. Gourmet Traveller singled out the woodfired flat bread, which has quickly become a signature, along with the ocean trout crudo, grilled Port Lincoln sardines and glazed lamb shoulder with smoked yoghurt. The $55 prix-fixe lunch also earned a mention as excellent value, especially with the view that comes with it.
At Lucio's Marina, Gourmet Traveller highlighted the family story behind the restaurant. Owner Matteo Galletto is the son of Lucio Galletto, who ran the much-loved Lucio's in Paddington, Sydney for almost 40 years. Menu highlights in the write-up included the truffle steak tartare cornetto, octopus carpaccio with olive emulsion and salsa verde, and the signature tagliolini alla granseola, reworked here with local spanner crab.
Both restaurants are open for bookings now. Whether it is a long lunch at Peli's or dinner overlooking the river at Lucio's Marina, a table at either is a good reason to make your way to Noosa Marina.
